How to Join AARMR

Considering becoming a member of the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators (AARMR)? There are two types of organizations that may join AARMR: General Members and Affiliate Members.

General Membership (State Regulators)

AARMR General Membership (state regulatory agencies) is available to those regulatory agencies and their representatives having responsibility for the regulation of mortgage loan origination, brokering, lending or servicing activities in any US state, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.


Benefits of General Membership

  • Discounted membership rate (nearly 50%!) to the Annual Regulatory Conference & Training (usually held in early August)
  • Discounted membership rate to examiner training offerings (in-person training schools and virtual webinar trainings)
  • Access to the AARMR website’s Members Only content, which includes contact information for member organizations and their representatives, and resources from recent examiner training schools
  • Ability to submit a question to General Member representatives (regulators) via our Ask a Regulator online form and email list
  • Subscription to The Regulator, AARMR’s bi-annual newsletter
  • Ability to share information with all members via The Regulator newsletter


Cost of General Membership

Dues: $825.00 annually

How to Join as a General Member

For your organization to join AARMR as a General Member, you will need to complete the General Membership Online Form, and submit payment. Please note that dues payment must be received before your membership application can be processed.

Affiliate Membership (Industry)

AARMR Affiliate Membership is available to firms and individuals engaged in mortgage origination, mortgage servicing, accounting, consulting and legal services.

Benefits of Affiliate Membership

  • Discounted membership rate (nearly 50%!) to the Annual Regulatory Conference & Training (usually held in early August)
  • Access to the website’s Members Only content, which includes contact information for member organizations and their representatives
  • Ability to submit a question to General Member representatives (regulators) via our Ask-a-Regulator online form
  • Subscription to The Regulator, AARMR’s bi-annual newsletter
  • Ability to share information with all members via The Regulator newsletter
  • Potential to join the Industry Advisory Council, which routinely advises AARMR’s Board of Directors (NOTE: the Council is limited to 25 Affiliate Member companies)

Cost of Affiliate Membership

Dues: $1,100.00 annually
